The belongings we carry in our hearts 🙂 …
I was born in Chennai – Chennai the city of my birth,
grew up in Mumbai – call it the city of my heart 🙂
Spent a brief period in Vancouver – call it the city of my “dream, what would it have been”
and have moved to Bangalore where I feel I could look more within and where I feel I became aware of the connections and interconnectedness – call it the city of my soul… and who knows what life has in gift for me ahead :)…
Coming to Marathi
As I grew up in Mumbai, though my language at home was Tamil, there was (and is)a deep connection to Marathi, I listened to Marathi all around, I learnt, spoke , read and sang too (Still do. My father, Appa, loved Marathi 🙂 He moved to Mumbai when was 16!
We would watch Marathi movies when we could ….
Life and deepened connections ahead
I am also married into a Marathi speaking family 🙂
And more , to my deep connection when we meet..
Love Ramya
