Always such a joy and honour to be at Bhoomi Habba. Thank you Mercy and the team at Visthar
Thank you so so much for the opportunity. Being able to contribute to community and Earth feels like a gift.
Last year I had explored tapestry of dreams with the circle.
This year one of my explorations has been porulin kural or object’s voice .
Thought it would be very meaningful for me to explore with the gathering the object’s voice with the lens of Earth (Bhoomi) and love, heartmade, handmade and more (My journey is at thebrightlamp.com, instagram handle for work is ramyaponders_thebrightlamp, and have written a bit about Porul at https://seekingporul. wordpress.com/about/).
Was wonderful to hold space for two gatherings one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Met many wonderful friends during the rest of the habba . It was very meaningful to listen to everyone who came. Such deep heartfelt sharing. Heard from the high school children gifts – porul – chairs from the ancestors, grandmother’s paintings, ancient chest with grandparents belongings, to “a tennis ball that ajji gave eight years ago that’s my most precious possession and more”
Thank you Rashmi and Aunty for the gift of the song, the children who sang it with so much.
Thank you Tavo, bachcha, was so wonderful to meet you. Was wonderful to listen to you
Thank you Jim, for being there. Thank you to all the volunteers who helped so much.
Thank you so much to everyone.
